By air: To Oslo international airport, Gardermoen. From there to Trondheim airport. Some airlines have flights directly to Trondheim from Europe.  From the airport you can catch a flight to smaller local airports like Namsos or Rørvik airport which both are about 2 hours drive from Åbygda (River village). Trondheim airport is about 4 hours drive from Åbygda (Rivervillage).  By land: Trains go past Trondheim airport every day, so if you'd like to relax after a long planeride this is a great way to travel. From Trondheim airport it's a 3 hour ride to Grong, which is about 2 hrs 30 min drive from Åbygda (Rivervillage).   By sea: South from Bergen you can get on board the Norwegian coastal line, which travels between Bergen and Kirkenes. When you arrive at the port of Rørvik there's about 2 hours driving time left by car to Åbygda (Rivervillage).
